We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Walton Christian Church a great one!
- Walton Christian Church meets every Sunday @ 10:30 a.m.

What Can I Expect?
How long is a typical service?
In total, a typical WCC service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with our band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.
After the music portion of service is complete, the morning's speaker (usually lead pastor) will share an encouraging and relevant message rooted in Jesus.
After the message, we experience communion (partake of bread/juice that represents body/blood of Christ) together. We believe doing so draws us closer to Christ and each other. And it's your decision to make (whether to partake of bread/juice) as the WCC's Communion Table is available to anyone. If you choose not to partake, it's okay. Use the time to relax and ponder life beyond yourself.
The service closes out with a song. And after the service closes out, there's an opportunity (10 minutes) to pray with someone if you desire.
WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT WCC?
Don't worry about a dress code (casual/relaxed). Grab a (free) cup of real organic Nicaraguan coffee (it's okay to take coffee into service). Feel free to hang out before and after service each Sunday in WCC's Family Room. Enjoy a snack while you catch up with friends. Maybe you'll even make a new friend or two.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We believe that kids/students should have a blast at church every single week - and at WCC, we make this a priority. We use Orange Curriculum to create an environment of enjoyable learning. Also, Parent Cues are available for parents to use throughout the week as you interact with your child.
The other thing we make a priority is your child’s safety. All leaders involved with children/student ministry here at WCC are background-checked. Areas used for nursery/preschoolers/elementary students are secure during service. You can be confident in your child's safety and care.
A Check-In Kiosk/IPAD is used for children Grade 5 and younger (anyone participating in Orange needs to check-in). If it's your first time to use the kiosk/ipad, it's simple. Just supply some basic information (name/age/address/email/phone #/health notes).
If you've already entered information, just use your last name to check-in.
Two tags will print when checking in a child. One tag is a name tag to be worn by child. Second tag is for parent/guardian and has a number printed on it corresponding to a number printed on name tag worn by child. (If you have more than one child checking in for Orange, the same tag number will be used for all children.) The parent/guardian tag is used when meeting back up with your child after service (if verification of parent/guardian is needed).
